Scripture Reminder

Sometimes I just need a it just me?  I can start my day with quiet time and be ready to face anything, and then my 2 year old wakes up. I love him with all my heart and soul but he has a tendency to wear me down. I'm not sure if parenting is getting harder or I'm just getting older.
All this to say that I am in constant need of help from my heavenly Father and I needed to find a way to make that work.
If you are like me with young kids then you are in the kitchen at least 1000 times a day (ok, that may be a bit of an exaggeration) making a snack, cooking a meal or doing dishes. Well I decided that is where I need my reminder.

My reminder that my God is for me.
My reminder of the type of woman He wants me to be.
My reminder to come to Him at all times with all things.

Here is my solution:
my scripture notecards

They change as I need them to. If a verse speaks to me that day I put it up. Currently I have cards up with 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, Psalm 73 & Proverbs 31:25-27.
These have been up for quite awhile because I just can't read them enough times. These scriptures help me get through the day.
What helps you get through the day?

When my girls were younger, I would write a verse and put it on my mirror so when I brushed my teeth, I'd read it. I have another one over the kitchen sink, because that is where I spent most of my days. Love that you are sharing this with others!

I am totally going to do this! Not sure why I haven't done this before. When my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer, she had sticky notes all over the house. They were filled with scriptures of healing and hope. It's such a great idea! They interrupt those timesof stress and doubt with God's blessings and promises!!
