Saturday Morning Breakfast

Happy weekend everyone! We have a fun and busy weekend planned but for now I wanted to share this precious quiet moment from this morning. The Lord has really been speaking to me lately about relaxing and enjoying the moment. As I'm sure you can imagine, life with 4 little ones can be a bit frazzled at times. I have felt a definite nudge to "be still" and enjoy these small pleasures. While Daddy is off this morning mountain biking my original plan was to drag myself out of bed jump up and make the 200 cucumber sandwiches that I need for the St. Patrick's Day Tea I'm attending today. Again, I felt a nudge to not rush. So... the kids and I laid in bed until 7:30 then enjoyed a living room picnic breakfast while watching a movie. What a blessing, thank you Lord! I just love these little munchkins. Ok, now I must go into the abyss of cucumber sandwiches. Wish me luck!

In vain you rise up early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat- for he grants sleep to those he loves. Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Psalm 127:2-3

I absolutely adore your blog. It's nice to have a fellow patron in the "slow down and enjoy every minute" way of life. Seriously...I have to tell myself to "be still" every day of my life. Life happens and RUNS away sometimes... We've been "camping out" in our living room lately since it's been raining often. Spring showers!! FINALLY! Anything is better than snow! I'm lifting your button and putting it on my blog to share. Hope you have an amazing week!!
