Misc. Monday - A Good Cry & Some Randomness

This bottle of salad dressing made me cry!

Let me explain...while I'm keeping this in perspective, let's be honest, sometimes a good cry is in order. Here are the events which lead to a bottle of salad dressing making me cry.

If you've been following along you know that we had a house flood last week which I have been handling very well {if I do day so myself}.
This is just a taste of what I'm currently living in...

The kids' bathroom, pretty right?

This is the light that fell off my hubby's car last week when he ran over a tire on the freeway trying to get to my daughters softball game.

I'm sure it's fine for him to be driving around without this, we just won't go anywhere are night.

Here is my hubby fixing the handle and lock on our front door because we practically had to break into our own house everyday to get the door open.

That's right ladies, he can manage your investments and fix things around the house. {and he loves when I take pictures of him while he's fixing things, not}

I knew something was not right when I went to make the kids breakfast and my milk was frozen.

Here is my milk that I now need to sit out on the counter so it will thaw. That's not weird at all.  Keep in mind, I still haven't cried although I am close.

Here is where it gets all emotional...
On the way to Lowe's{to buy a new toilet, yah we're down to one toilet} my hubby called to ask me to start marinating the chicken and veggies in Italian dressing so he could BBQ them. "No problem".  I'm sure you can guess what happened next...
I got the salad dressing out of the fridge and it was frozen solid! Start the waterworks! That's right, I'm not ashamed to admit that salad dressing gave me a full on nervous breakdown.  The good news is I felt much better, the bad news is before we start repairing our water damage we have to buy a new fridge.  Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.

Now on to a little randomness...
I can't tell you how happy this makes me, especially on a Thursday.

I practically live in a haunted house. This is the light outside my front door.

If you keep setting rat traps and you find the peanut butter licked off but the trap hasn't snapped aren't you actually just feeding the rats? Just a thought.

So sorry for the rough week...hang in there! I had a rough week too that involved not closing on a house we're about to buy and getting some bad news about when my husband's job will start...the good news is that we're not in control, right?

OH, Jami, bless your sweet heart! Now, I'm with you on the crying. I can cry with the best of them and I always feel 100% better after a good cry. It's like a dose of medicine for me. :o)

You have such a great attitude and I pray God's richest blessings on you this week as you "go forth."

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for the comment on my post today! :) LOVE that idea about the WW pound cake with berries on top - it's on my grocery list!

You ARE having a rough time ... hang in there, mama! I've cried over things far more ridiculous than salad dressing, I can promise you that. :)

Bless your heart! I know what you mean about a good cry. Sometimes it all just builds up and then it all releases. I usually feel better after a good cry. My husband hates it when I take photos of him, too. I can't help it though. You have a cute blog and sweet family! Thanks for stopping by mine :)

Oye my friend; what a day! You should have just ditched town with me to the O.C.!! Isn't your frig still pretty new? I can't keep up with your appliance issues. Perhaps some extended protection plans are in order for all the new purchases! Hang in there! The light is coming.

Oh lady, I'm so sorry! I totally get it...
I had a day like that on Wednesday, my husband called and asked if he could take me to dinner and I burst into tears.
I guarantee you will remember (and laugh) every time you grab a bottle of Italian dressing though :)
