A Lovely Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day and felt so loved. Here are some pics of the beautiful cards my two oldest made me.

Aren't they adorable? And W told me his is re-usable so you know I'm gonna be taking him up on that!

We heard a great sermon at church comparing how Paul gave his all to the Thessalonians in the same manner we moms give it all to our kids.

We then spent the rest of the day at the Pasadena Flea Market{this is where you hear the choir of angles singing}. That's right, the hubby and all 4 kids braved the flea market for Mommy! And it was a success.

We found this great cabinet for the kids bathroom with lots of storage. My favorite detail is the great latch that closes the upper cabinet. Once I get that paint off that it is going to be beautiful. I can't decide whether to paint the cabinet white or go with a fun color. Any suggestions??? Please???

I got this great basket with glass jars. These are gonna be perfect for holding cotton balls and q-tips.

And this beautiful shelf to hang under the bathroom mirror to hold their toothbrushes and other accessories.

The day rounded out with getting an hour all to myself to watch Design Inc and eat my favorite pizza.
Please tell me you've seen Sarah Richardson's new show, it's amazing.

Blessed beyond description.

It sounds like a wonderful time! What great finds too! I don't know what color your room is in, but I'm into the light blues/greens (reminds me of the sea) colors right now ;-)

what an awesome sounding mother's day! i wish we had a halfway decent flea market around here....ours just seem like yard sale reject fodder. i don't have the greatest eye in the world for finding hidden treasures, but i'm thinking warped rubbermaid lids are no great find!! i love the cabinet you found for your kids' bathroom. i'd go for a fun color...something like turquoise (which apparently is a color i'm a little obsessed with lately!)

BEAUTIFUL find. suggestions for the cabinet- a vintage cream or linen color or a teal would be really fun. :)
