Can I Live in Here?

Would it be weird if I lived in my kids bathroom? I'm so in love with how it came out that I might just do that. My hubby has already caught me a couple times just standing in the bathroom staring at things! As a little reminder here is what we've been living with since March...

With a lot of hard work by my hubby and our friend Tony my kids now have a beautiful bathroom {did I mention I might live in here?}. We decided to go with plain white subway tile for the shower and all chrome fixtures. This gave me a great blank slate to work with.

There were two things I wanted to be sure of. I wanted the bathroom to be full of color and filled with scripture. I love the idea of my kids being surrounded by God's word.

I'm in love with each of these prints...

1. The King is enthralled with your beauty , honor Him for He is your Lord. Psalm 45:11
This was a free printable from Naptime Diaries. Jessi's prints are amazing and you are definitely going to want one. This is right at the entrance to the bathroom. I am so happy my girls will grow up reading this verse as they get ready to face each day.
2. A happy heart makes a cheerful face. Proverbs 15:13
Who couldn't use this verse first thing in the morning?
3. In Christ Alone -song lyrics by Stuart Townsend & Keith Getty
Prints 2 & 3 are from Tank+Tink. Molly is a genius so get over there!

Some other details I love...

1. We used an old glass door knob to hang a hand towel next to the sink.
2. We have great storage now in the cabinet I found at the Pasadena Flea Market. I painted it cornbread yellow.
3. The glass jars I bought at the flea market hold their Q-tips and cotton balls.
4.The wall collage that includes frames from Mandolin Goose, some iron stars  and an old candle stick holder I bought years ago in an antique shop.
5. The hooks for their bath towels. I can't stand towels hanging over the shower door so this is perfect. Thanks Pamela for telling me to paint them white!
6. The beautiful wainscoting that our friend blessed us with {for free people...hello?}. and the hexagon floor tile.

I'd call it a job well done! Now I gotta go so I can demo the master bath!

Love it! Take a sleeping bag into the tub and camp out for the night. I would if it meant I could stare at those prints at my own pleasure. Love that verse about your beauty. What a great one for your girls.

Everything looks amazing; love the yellow on the vabinet, the scripture prints, the color combos.
You & I are definitely cut from the same cloth, m'dear. When we started our master bath remodel(um...last year, grrr) we went with white subway tile too. And hexagon floor tile is on my wishlist, esp to keep with the character of this old house. I love it all!
Wondering how Im able to comment all of a sudden? Leslie. Shes the bomb:) She figured out why Blogger wasnt letting us comment. I owe her big time!
