I have the privilege of guest posting on one of my favorite blogs today. My beautiful friend Casey is a treasure that I am supremely grateful for. "Meeting" her has been just one of the many blessings of this little blog of mine. Thanks Casey!
I just read your post on Casey's blog and it was beautiful. God is so good and always takes care of us. Love your little blog - it's adorable. I am so glad I found it! :) Michelle
Love you. We're headed to the Strawberry Festival & Parade. The little one is in the parade for gmynastics. Have a wonderful day. Cant wait to read your post when we get home. xo
such an amazing post over on Casey's blog. That's for sharing and your vulnerability to share something so personal. All too often I find myself looking to my hubby to completely fulfill me when that's totally backwards and God is the ONLY one who can fully do that. Thanks so much for the reminder.
Your post on Casey blog is beautiful and inspiring. God is good to all of us. Thank you for those amazing words because I really needed them today. Your blog is amazing as well =]
i love you friend!!!! thanks for sharing your heart. my hope/prayer is that whom ever reads this today walks away and puts their trust FULLY in the LORD, for the long hall. GOD can help US over come any obstacle no matter how hard it may be as long as we let him in.
"trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your way acknowledge him, AND he WILL make your paths straight." ~Proverbs 3:5-6
I just read your post on Casey's blog. Thanks for the honesty and all that you shared. I really appreciated the reminder to see your husband as Jesus sees him that he is a "sinful man in a broken world trying his best." Very challenging and encouraging. Blessings~ande~
I read your post on Casey's blog, and felt led to head over here and say THANK YOU!
That was so amazing, and truth-filled. I truly agree that we, as humans, often put our hope in other humans who are as broken and sin-filled as we are ourselves. Thank you for shedding light on such an important topic, and for inspiring me this Saturday morning to place my hope only in the Lord!
I really find your post on Casey's blog inspiring. I am not married yet -- but I know some many relationships {including my own parents} who are struggling. And I keep encouraging my mom, but truly your scripture spoke mountains that I emailed to my mom to read {by the way, her name is Jami too :]} but God is going to Bless you so much for staying strong in your marriage, because that was God's purpose of saying I do & becoming one!
just wanted to let you know that your post touched me.even made me cry. i don't think it was an accident that the same night my husband and i had a fight i read your post and was reminded how i was to treat my husband and see him through the eyes of Christ. not my own. (very hard by the way). when i saw the title of your post i even ignored it a couple times. thank you for your words. i am your newest follower :)
Thank you for your wonderful post over with Casey. I appreciate your honesty and willingness to share your experiences and what you've learned. What a testament your marriage and hard work will be to others. Also what a wonderful example you've demonstrated to your kids!
loved your post over at casey's blog. thank you so much for sharing! it came at just the right time for me and quite possibly just what I needed to hear!!
thanks for your transparent humility. Praise God for speaking to our hearts even when we aren't asking for it. Your testimony was hugely encouraging. thanks for sharing. :)
Wonderful post! It's so true...putting our faith in people is always going to let us down. Thankfully, God never does. A wonderful reminder to always keep God the center. xoxo
oh friend. i absolutely loved reading this. i've only been married for three and half years and satan has already tried to tear us apart numerous times. God is good though. He is my hope. He is our hope. i can't wait to sit down and talk with you in september. let's make that happen, k? :) xoxo.
