Today I'm in love with my own desk! I spent the afternoon cleaning it up and organizing and now I am ready to create.
I scored these little beauties for 50% off at Michael's to hold all the goodies that have overflowed from my desk.
I took this vase from my mantle {which badly needs redecorating} and added this little scarf my daughter found on a hike. Isn't it cute?
Ok, I'm off to make some cards but before I do I have to tell you the other thing I'm loving right now...
The fruit & cheese platter from Starbucks! Seriously, if I could go out and get it for every meal I think I would. It is beyond yummy and the perfect amount of food. Go get you one.

I love when my creative space is clean and organize (which is pretty much never). It's like I have a blank slate to create, rather than a slate with leftover arithmetic on the sides.

there is something so fabulous about organizing a desk. if i were rich i'd blow it on baskets and bins and fancy shelf things. plus, i'm a serious pile-maker, and have to reorganize a LOT!
oh my desk a hot mess. seriously. it became the thing we pile everything on, post-move. not pretty. on my tackle list for today actually. but it's 100 degrees at 7:40 which might alter my plan. and LOVE the fruit and cheese platter. one of my faves. actually, i may go to starbucks instead of cleaning my desk. and i will blame you. ;)
