Passin On the Handmade Fever

I love handmade things! If you haven't discovered the feeling of getting something that was made by hand with love you are missing out.  I've discussed my Etsy addiction before on the ol blog but I also spend my time making things.  What has been amazing and fun lately is that J also LOVES crafting and making things. So I'm passin on the fever people. Here is some handmade goodness from the two of us.

my cards

her window ornament

her journal where she writes about all her favorite things and makes beautiful pictures

Now go make something...or buy something someone else made.

Love that your kids are getting in on the action - doesn't that just make it so much more fun and meaningful!?

I love when I can pass on creativity to others. Most of my friends are not very crafty, so it's fun when I can teach them something. I'll be teaching my {future} mother & sister-in-law to crochet this summer!

i love your cards, too! and that's so wonderful that your kids are getting into it. my boys have crafted with me before, but i think it was more about doing a craft for fun than for actually creating something...

Those are beautiful cards. I love picking up beautiful paper and making it into something of my own. I don't have a lot of time at the moment but hope to get back to my creative place soon.

Man, this just increases my craft envy. I think I was born without the crafty gene. : ) How sweet that you two share the passion.
