Some Thoughts on Tuesday

If we were sitting together having coffee today {and I wish we were} I would tell you that I had big plans for the Summer. Lots of trips to the beach and the pool and then this happened...

N fractured his leg! No walking, no getting it wet and no playing outside near dirt. I'm sorry doctor, did you not notice that he is a 3 year old boy? We go back in two weeks and I'm praying he can get the cast off. I'll keep you posted. It is pretty funny to watch him scoot around on the floor to get something to play with.

I bought a new book that was recommended by my beautiful bloggy friend Danielle. I started it last night and I'm already in love. It's so different than anything I've ever read  and it's making me happy.

I'm very excited that my closet is getting made over and organized today! I have decided that when possible I am going to get help in the areas I am not gifted in. Organization would be one of those. My fabulous hubby agreed to have the cost of this included in our remodel budget...and that's why he's the best! I will of course have a full post up soon.

Finally I'm making a couple custom cards for another bloggy friend and I'm loving it. I'm so grateful to have the time and resources for this creative outlet. I love creating things for other people. I hope she loves them as much as I do.
Here's a sneak peek just in case Virginia is reading this.

Seriously??? Every summer that is always my biggest fear...one of my kid's breaking something...sorry to hear that! But on a positive note it gives you the reason to explore different activities. Good luck :)

Oh how I wished we lived next door to each other. Funny, I just tackled our master BR closet on Saturday. I mean...it took me all day but I hauled out, threw out the old braided rug we were using as a floor covering(it was gross) and cleaned from top to bottom. I love it now!
So sorry about little man's leg. That stinks big time.

Prayers for the creativity to kick in when it comes to ideas for doing non-beachy or non-swimmy things with the kids this summer!

Oh man!!! A cast at summer time?! That is just plain wrong. You'll get creative and make the best of it! My 4 year old broke his arm last Sept. The cast time went by fast. Hang in there!

Oh no! I can't imagine my almost 4 year old in a cast. We'd both go crazy. Hope it comes off in two weeks.

Okay, as a lover of books can you explain why you are loving it so much? I've seen the title several times but never picked it up. But if it's really good I will.
