Summer Dreamin

For months now my hubby has been saying he wants to do an outdoor movie night. How fun would it be to invite all or friend with their little ones for a movie under the stars?! Well of course I had to go to Pinterest to see what great ideas I could find. Here is what I'm lovin for outdoor movie night.

Can you say comfy?

And of course you have to have fun food!

So do you think I can get my act together enough to make this happen? I'll keep you posted!

We used to do this all the time in high school. It's good to have something behind the sheet you're projecting on (like the side of your house) or else light can be coming back through the back of the sheet making it harder to see the picture. It would be a really fun night, be sure to pass around the bug spray!

You guys should totally do this! There are two places where I live that host outdoor movies in the summer and it's SO much fun!

I haven't been able to get that first image out of my head all summer. We are going to try this too.

I've always wanted to watch a movie outside! We'd just have to do it in Winter...too hot & humid here in the Sunshine State!

Stopping in from WILW!

We hosted one for a youth event a couple summers ago and ever since then Ive wanted to do it on a regular basis at our house with the girls. It just seems like good ole fun.

what a great idea! makes me wish I had a projector! Heck...maybe we'll just take out the mini dvd player and all squish together so we can all see it!

do it. do it. do it. I live in a small rental apartment right now, so for the sake of those of us who are waiting to get a house with a yard...do it up. I love your taste too! I think you will do it even better than the pics above! :)

so fun, nothing better than those nights where it stays warm after the sun goes down - and you want any excuse to stay outside. :) I vote YES, you can do it! :)

Wow that one is fancy! For T.J.'s 6th bday it was the fire pit used to make smores with camping chairs and the movie on the wall of the house. We were actually going to plan an outdoor movie night like this in late July with maybe a bbq or chips/salsa bar....I'll invite ya to sample it out (but I can not do as well as that picture!)

I have that first pic pinned too.
It reminded me of the movie with JLo and Matt McC with the brown m n m's that I can't remember the name of and apparently couldn't be bothered googleing at the moment.
Okay.
Sorry.
Going to find you on Pinterest now.
