A Dance for My Heart

Well it's Summer and I'd love to say it's all going perfectly. I'd love to tell you that we spend our days crafting, reading and having long meaningful conversations. Although there is some of that happening, the truth is we've had a couple rough days. A lot of bickering and a lot of Mommy losing her patience.

As usual, God meets me right where I am...

As I was cooking dinner I peeked out the window and saw this...

J & N dancing together. It was as if God reached down and handed me a moment of peace because He knew I needed it. We all needed it.

I could have stood there forever and watched them. Watched him looking up at her.  Watched her nurturing him.

These are the moments my heart sits and rests in.

"May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels."
Psalm 122:6-7

Glad you caught a glimpse of that sweet moment. I just posted about how summer has been a transition for us. The bickering has put my patience to the test. : ) Hope you get more of those sweet moments.

Great post! It's so nice to be able to have those moments & stop to take them in..that's what it's all about.

super sweet . . . and they are gift-moments! they might as well be wrapped up with a bow and a note that reads: "Love you more than . . . - God"
