Every Day is a Blessing

Are you ready for it? Because it's pretty glamorous! Ok, not really.
I have learned to find beauty in the details because I know God notices the details, however small or mundane they may seem.

What I treasure most is that every day gets to begin and end in this little house. It's not big, it's not fancy...it's perfect for us.

Mornings hopefully start with the Word and a cup of coffee. I am still not completely consistent with doing it first thing in the morning but I'm getting better. And Cheerios are a staple. All my kids love them, plain old boring cheerios. Clearly they are not foodies.

By mid morning we are in full play mode. We are obviously working on potty training so there are many pairs of underwear in my ever day life. Baby C loves to play the piano, J loves to organize things {not sure where she got that} and there is a lot of casting spells. Oh yeah people, we are in a full Harry Potter obsession. Mommy included.

Ahhhhh, nap time. There will definitely be some cucumber chips and edamame humus involved. On a good day there will be some relaxing while trying to ignore the laundry and various other chores that need to be done. Never fear, they all get done eventually but it's the only quiet time I have, sue me.

On most days you will see a lot of these activities... crafting for J, reading for W, legos with his big bro for N{no you are not mistaken...these legos are Harry Potter and Lucius Malfoy in an epic battle to save Dobby. I wasn't kidding about the obsession.}and hopefully some card making for Mommy.

And of course we all eagerly await Daddy coming home so we can climb all over him and interrupt his phone calls.

It's a beautiful thing!

My husband is obsessed with harry potter too! I got him a little harry potter lego set for christmas as a gag gift, but he actually liked it! Oh, and your house is so pretty! No need for a crazy mansion, not my style. :-)

I loved this post! Thanks for sharing your life with us. :) oh, and got your DM on twitter and don't think I'm going to have everything set up in time to advertise this month :( unless I can join in when I'm done setting it all up in the 'cdm designs' part of my blog ??? Maybe next time.

I want to live somewhere where I have to have a stack of logs outside my door. It's just so warm and cozy and inviting looking. Boo Texas and your heat!

Like you, we love our home...be it ever so humble! All 687 sq.ft. of our Love Shack we are grateful for and we are living our dream life here...who would have thought that? Love seeing your family and how you are enjoying the everyday, ordinary things that make our lives ours. Have a wonderful week. Fondly, Roberta
