Tangled and Tuned

What a whirlwind weekend! I love a busy weekend if it means we were able to do a lot of fun stuff and get a lot accomplished.

Let me just give a shout out to Hubby and our friend Tony who are on their 12th hour of tiling my new shower. You read that write...12 hours. He wants me to be happy, and he wants it to be right. I'm one lucky lady.

On Saturday I took the two little ones and we watched my nephew play quarterback in the season opener football game {for those of you who don't know that quarterback=football}. He was amazing, he's a stud. That is all.

We watched Tangled 3 times. Yes you also read that correctly...3 times. I LOVE this movie for a couple reasons.
1. N always refers to Flynn Ryder as Bill O'Reilly. I have no idea why, but it is the funniest thing ever. And also, who would not want to snuggle next to him for hours on end?

2. All the songs are right in my range so I can really belt it out and completely embarrass my kids. That's never a bad thing.

We had some repairs and tuning that needed to be done to our piano. This piano belonged to Hubby's Grandma so it's very special. She played this piano in the band she was in with her husband. Have you ever heard anything so cool? Well, needless to say it means a lot to us and we want to tkae good care of it. Have you ever seen a piano getting tuned? It is very interesting.

But here is what I really love...
Our piano tuner wears a belt with piano keys on it! I snuck this picture because, well, I just couldn't help myself. I can't be trusted with a camera.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Tell me all about it.

Don't forget to come back tomorrow and link up to "we encourage". I promise you won't regret it.

what a precious gift that piano is! I played the piano for 10 years, but once I graduated from high school there was no time. now that I live on my own, there's no ROOM for a piano at our house! I dream of having a piano again someday, though. :)

I LOVE Tangled. It's funny because I watched if for the first time about week ago. I've wanted to watch it about 4 times since, but I thought "no, I just watched it. I can't watch it again so soon!" So now that I've read that you watched it 3 times in one weekend, I'm thinking I'll watch it again!

Also, that belt is soo cute. It makes me think that he must love his job if he likes pianos so much.

Hope you're having a great day, lovely! xo

LOL! That is a sweeeeeet belt. Lucky guy he's wearing one or else you would have snapped a picture of his bum crack. :0)

I LOVE Tangled, too... such a great movie. My daughter liked it, but she won't watch it again because the part at the end in the tower was too scary for her. Wah.
