And Christmas is Here

I don't do anything "Christmasy" until after Thanksgiving.
I refuse.
Don't decorate...
Don't listen to Christmas music,
Don't even really feel in the Christmas spirit.

But the day after Thanksgiving?

Look out!
Christmas2011

I'm pretty sure the number of lights I have on my tree is a fire hazard but I won't tell if you don't.

Christmas is finally here...and it's lovely.

Ok this is where we differ. As soon as October 1st hits, Im itching to start playing Christmas music. But I dont until the day after Thanksgiving.
Im excited that we're getting our first real tree this year! My fakey is in the diningroom...my silver and blingy tree. But the real one will hold all the ornaments from our past. So many memories.
Have a lovely Monday sweet lady:)

I am on Team "AFter Thanksgiving" too. I really, really wanted to get the tree this weekend but I had to halt when the weather said 87 outside. That is not right. I could turn on the air and pretend it was cool outside and decorate the inside of my house. But, I couldn't make myself go outside, sweat, wear shorts and get my tree. Maybe next weekend. Yours looks magical. :)

I am like you. I do buy gifts when I see them on sale starting in Sept. just to spread out the cost, but everything else waits until after Thanksgiving. The lights are up and the tree will be up on Friday. Yay! Happy Monday to you!
