There is something I love to do that with 4 kids doesn't always happen.
I love to read.
The book I'm currently reading. My worship leader asked the whole team to read it. I'm so glad he did, it's a great book.
When I get a few minutes to sit down and read I am always thankful. On this particular occasion N was laying on my lap which made it even sweeter.
I've made some adjustments to my daily routine to make sure I have time to read each day.
It's good for my soul.
It's always a few minutes of peace, thoughtfulness and rest.

Reading is the best! It's renews and refreshes the mind and soul. At least for me :)
My husband read that book last year and loved it!

Girl, I don't have kids and I have a hard time finding time to read even though I love it. I need to get myself some more devotional/worship books and this may just have to go on my list! ;)

i haven't read anything in ages. i blame it on homeschooling three kids. it seems like i'm always reading through something for them and at the end of the day all i want to do is watch something lame like the bachelor!!!
Good for you! I starting doing the same thing. Taking that time to make sure I read starting the last couple weeks has been awesome! It's me time and I am loving it!!

its been sometime since i read a book too - and i only have 1 child! I love the peace and quiet that comes with reading - definitely good for the soul!
It's kind of sad but the way I'm finding it easiest to read these days is to do it by or on the computer...I'm often sitting here so I have a book, a journal, and online bible on the screen! It's not ideal but it seems to work best at the moment! Happy reading! : )
