Stitched Together

Stitched Together.
That's how I feel about these women.

I still find it hard to wrap my brain around.
I have an amazing Hubby and beautiful children. I have wonderful parents and extended family.
I have friends who I don't think I could live without.
Friends who love me.
God has blessed me abundantly.

So the idea He would then shower more love and grace over me in the form of my Lake Placid ladies (yes, that is their official title) is hard for me to put words to.
But that won't stop me from trying.
I could never have imagined going to spend 5 days in New York with friends I met through this blog.
What I could have imagined even less is how much I would love them.
The amount of texting that occurred over the 5 months leading up to this trip (trust me, it was ridiculous) could not have prepared me for the amount of beauty, wisdom, talent, grace, laughter and love I would experience once I was face to face with each of them.
God took 9 women from all different places and backgrounds, each with a different story of redemption, and stitched our hearts together forever.
I don't have the words to express the gratitude I feel for each of them.
It was a glorious 5 days that left me refreshed.
The food was ah-mazing, my pants are still tight.
I laughed so hard my tummy hurt, and in my book there is nothing better than that.
And hearing each friend's testimony is something I will never forget.
I wish we could just hang out whenever we felt like it.
For now, I will take what I can.
Texts, emails and video chats.
Until next time ladies.
Love you.

I love your bloggy adventures. This trip seemed amazing. Like not paying the check at Mimi's x 5,000. I, too am thankful for the women God has brought into my life as a result of blogging. And that none of them have murdered me yet. I miss you. Let's dine and ditch again SOON.

After I originally commented I appear to have clicked
on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from
now on each time a comment is added I recieve 4 emails with the exact same comment.
Is there an easy method you can remove me from that service?

Thanks a lot!

Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I
could add to my blog that automatically tweet
my newest twitter updates. I've been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.
