Thankful {for the little things & the big things}

Oh hello there. It's been awhile.
I took a nice little {ok, maybe big} break from the blog.
In the whirlwind of business that life with 4 kids can bring I felt the Lord nudging me to be quiet.
Me. Quiet. I know.

Of course what better way to get back into the swing of things than to link up with 2 of my favorite people?

Some little things I'm thankful for...

It's been raining for 2 days. Aaaaand I love it. It's my favorite weather for sure. Lucky for me, my family doesn't really get cabin fever. We all love to be by the fire with a book or playing a game. It's a dream.

Speaking of fires...

I'm thankful for this little spot in my little house. I keep this fire going
There is usually a dog laying in front of it hogging all the heat but they are camera shy. When it gets cold here this is where all the action happens. The heart of our family is right here.

Now for some bigger things...

This kid tried something new. This kid. The one who is not competitive in anything but academics. The one who likes to have "free time at home" rather than be in an organized activity. And yes, those are his words.
He stepped out, tried something new, and believe it or not, liked it.
Is he going to be a professional flag football player {is there even such a thing}?
But he did a great job getting outside his comfort zone and I'm thankful for his courage.

Finally, there have been a lot of changes around here lately. Situations are changing, my attitudes about some things are changing.
But I'm thankful I'm loved by an unchanging God.
Every Season 8x10 Print

I know that His plan is better than any I could ever come up with.
So I will listen to and then follow Him.
I'm thankful His plans for me are good.

Ive missed you and just last night felt prompted to send you a text(but then I got preoccupied doing something else-total fail on my part.)
Please know that you've been missed but I get the "quiet" thing.
Ive spent the majority of this week in the hospital, before and after school, with my dad. Another surgery, this time added a pacemaker.
And I love that print of Katy's. Its hanging right here above my laptop!:)

With havin so much content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright violation?
My site has a lot of unique content I've either authored myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any solutions to help reduce content from being ripped off? I'd
definitely appreciate it.

Oh hayyyy. I took a little hiatus, too. Not because God told me to. Mostly because I'm lazy. I miss you. And Mimi's with you. I think you need to come up to our Mimi's, yes? I'll be praying for your changing situations. Love you, friend.
